Hi Everyone. I have been listening to the MT and CT podcasts for a while and they have saved my life more times than I can mention. So please accept my humble thanks for all your wisdom and insight. So, a little about me. I have been working in the IT industry for just over 14 years, and I love it. What started out as doing something I enjoyed has now blossomed into a great career. I spent the last 4 years leading a team of 7 Infrastructure engineers for digital media company but as from Monday I will be starting my new role as IT Servives Manager. This is a big step up for me as I am now reporting to the CIO and I am responsible and accountable for 3 teams (15 people) It's all very exciting but I am very apprehensive at the same time. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you all some more.

It sounds like the MT guidance has served you very well.  I'm sure that trend will continue as you make more teams even more effective - multiplying the effect of your leadership.  That's an awesome opportunity.  I wish you all the best in your new role!

Bit of a late reply, but thank you everyone for the warm welcome. 
Its been a hectic few months and it has offered some real ups and downs. I just take each day as it comes and use the MT tools and advice to help guide me. This site and it's podcasts are a real godsend.
