Does anyone have a Good briefing book example that they could share with me? I'm afraid I'm not hitting the right level of detail. Or... If someone has a spare moment to review mine and provide feedback it would be really appreciated.

Briefing book? What is that?

Ken,

The briefing book is described in the Aug 2006 podcasts regarding M&A. The basic idea is a complete summary view of your team, its mission, projects, budget, etc.

I've found it quite useful not only as our firm goes through a complex series of mergers, but also for having a crisp handle on my team and our activities.

Thanks John. I will pick up the podcast.

I agree, that seems like a good tool to have regardless if you are involved in M&A or any high-profile team.
