hi all. My name is James Burns. I work for Hunter Fan Company in the position of industrial design manager. For almost one year I have led a team of five designers in the creation of better looking ceiling fans and lighting. My life outside of work is filled with a wonderful girlfriend, a puppy and a goldfish. I also garden, sculpt and paint for fun. Many thanks to Mike, Mark and the entire MT community for a solid education in team leadership.

James-

Welcome to you, sir. Glad you're on-board, and thanks for working for a company that makes quality products.

You might want to never show that post to your girlfriend. Just the listing of her, the puppy and the goldfish, even with the wonderful modifier...Just a (silly) thought.

;-)

It's a privilege to serve you.

her humorous perspective on our household would never let her get mad about my list. we rib each other constantly about such things. The fish is mine, the demon-puppy is hers.

I love sharing Manager-Tools issues with her. we talk about what I learn from MT all the time. I think she is grateful that I have a reliable source to learn from. she would tell you my stress level has decreased quite a bit after listening to and applying what I learn from the podcast.

As for Hunter, we're getting stronger all the time...

thanks for all your help.

James-

Well said. We're glad we're helping at work and with stress. We'll add that to our television commercials we'll be starting soon.
