Hi,
I am new to this forum.
I have listened to quite a number of manager-tools podcasts.
I have put to practice a number of the podcasts; with good results and feedback from my colleagues!
I have commented on my blog on several podcasts at:

On my blog, I am trying to integrate some of the ideas of manager-tools with the new Web 2.0 technology and tools.
More specifically, I think using Social networking tools such as LinkedIn.com together with the great ideas of Mark and Mike on building your network can be tremendously effective!
I want to sincerely thank Mark and Mike on the great efforts that you guys have made at manager-tools.com !!
Kind regards,
Jeroen de Miranda

Welcome Jerone,
It's great to have you join the forums. There is a members bio area if you wish to post more about you there.

Welcome Jeroen. Somewhere around the forums there is a thread about LinkedIn. Mark & Mike even created an MT entry there.
Honestly, after that brief flurry of activity I haven't seen much out of LinkedIn. :?

We are all busy!
I generally do not invite people to join my network unless they already have a profile. A number of former students. employees, and peers are on my profile...but I do not aggressively pursue building my LinkedIn pool of contacts. I *do* continue to build and maintain my network.

"Thank you" again to MT advice.
