So approval came in today and I made my first hire for the new team. Very exciting stuff! I stopped in with my iPod when I got the news that the approvals were done, made sure my proverbial ducks were in a row, and got to end my day watching my new direct sign on the dotted line! Followed up with the other candidate, gave some good feedback that I *think* was well-received.
It was a nice end to the day.
